The Start Of A New Era

Skipping ahead a video in our timeline, we come to the start of the Group 9-1 era. This era consisted of Jared, Abbi, Jacob, John Danvers, and Jake Flemming. This is their first video made together and it is a landmark one at that. Shot and edited in just one class period, thanks to someone being absent (Jake), this is a fast paced zombie thriller and one of the few films to not feature Jared in front of the camera.

The Mind

Another film to be made during the pre-movie era of WAVE TV was "Inside Jake's Mind". The film was released at the same time as "The Lonely Salesman" and made a completely different impact. Everyone who saw this film walked away with a different experience, but one thing was sure, everyone was touched by "Inside Jake's Mind".

The Beginning

For those of you who don't know, every writer here at Gabazooba is in someway connected to WAVE TV. What is WAVE TV? Well, for those of you who don't know, WAVE TV is the video productions program held at the high school we all attended. Here in this section, videos from this amazing program, along with a history of WAVE TV, will be posted every few days. After we have gone through all of the WAVE TV videos, we'll see what we can do about pulling up some new ones, either pre or post WAVE TV. So, without further ado, let's get started with our first video.

Before WAVE TV became WAVE TV, it was just a class where students sat around and ate fast food. Then it came under the reign of a new teacher known simply as, Tindel. It was at this time that Jared also joined the class. Tindel chose Jared, along with two other students (Abbi and Nic), to act as producers for the class, they were the ones who named it WAVE TV. The class was mostly geared towards doing videos for the announcements but, at the end of the first semester Tindel allowed the students to do a free assignment. The group of Jared, Abbi, and Nic set out to make the first movie of WAVE TV and inadvertently changed WAVE TV forever.
